12.06 * Enemas quick safety reference

Enemas

a quick safety reference

Anal enemas are frequently used either as a form of training, humiliation, punishment or before anal fisting. The use of anal enemas is not entirely without risks. Below are the beginner safety issues to take into account. It's not unusual for people to increase the amount of fluid used or the time of hold the fluid in before relief. The hints and tips below take this into account. Please do read all information in this section before entering into enema play.
1. Start of with 500cc (cubic centimeters) of fluid, and never, even after a long period of time, try to take as much as your enema bag can hold;
2. Use ONLY warm milk (handwarm, about 30 degrees Celsius) or (soapy) water. Whatever you read in porn magazines: never use alcoholic fluids, peppered fluids, and such, stick to milk or water. Please don't use chemical laxatives of whatever nature on a regular basis;
3. Depending on your age, don't use enemas during or shortly before (planned) pregnancy or while still breast feeding;
4. Refrain from using enemas when you're sick, tired, during PMS, under a lot of stress, if you're active in sports or have a physically demanding job;
5. To be safe, start doing this once a month and not more for the first six months. If you don't start to feel extra tired, dizzy, nauseous or begin losing weight you may slowly go to once every two weeks. At the first sign off diarrhea, unnatural dizziness, fainting, nausea, weight loss, fatigue, muscle or belly cramps that don't seem to have an obvious cause, stop immediately. If any of these persist after stopping, consult your doctor and refrain from any further enema play;
6. Make sure you drink at least 2 litres of fluid every day (preferably water), regularly check your weight and keep it low on salt (all of this is healthy anyway);
7. It's wise to be extra careful with personal hygiene to avoid opening yourself up to all sorts of infections. Don't apply soap in that area the first two days after an enema, but simply wash yourself with plain water;
8. During the first 6 months stay on the lowest amount of fluid and only after this period with no problems try to use larger quantities, but again only slowly. If you are completely healthy it will take at least two years to get to the maximum of 3000cc;
9. Don't try to hold it in during the first six months and don't combine using more fluid AND holding it at the same time. What you do is take it step by step - every time you're getting used to a bigger amount, relieve yourself immediately when you need to and re-start the process of learning to hold it from the beginning. Never ever exceed one hour of having to hold it (which - we can assure you - is a very long time).
