Jan 08, Thursday Diary
10:00 up.
Watched Newsroom Season 2, Eps 7,8,9
Showered and dressed, and off to Dr S, 1530 appointment.
I drove as we would have to stop for gas in Her car.
Arrived 1535...
Did not have to wait long.
I weighed in at two hundred fifty pounds. Where the fuck did all THAT come from?
Doctor came in, we chatted.
Maybe this time, he believes there's something wrong.
He gave me a renewal on a prescription for some kinda acid blocker, and a referral to a GI specialist, while sounding doubtful that they would 'find anything'.
We left...
And stopped at a Chevron for an e-cig, which I wanted for a drive in rush hour traffic..and a cup of coffee (fancy... mocha and cinnamon), and I asked Merry if She wanted to come in, and it was Sunshine that joined me, grabbing for herself some kind of ice cream bar and a bag of Bugles... while asking me each time, "Shilo can I have this?" "Yes, honey." "Shilo, can I have this?" "Yes, honey."
We hit the road, me driving, and made our way through rush hour home. She nodded off, about when we got on the 710, and woke up about ten minutes before our exit, and apologized for dozing off. I said, 'no problem, I would have done the same if I was the passenger.'
We arrived home, 1745, and She had to scramble getting ready for a WSJ event in Dy.
She and Stitch left around 1800...and She called me at 1829, saying, "Made it!"
In Her absence, I watched Newsroom S2:9, S3:1 and S3:6..
For dinner, chicken soup and peanut butter on toast.
Later, I watched L&O:SVU.
They came home...
She had Stitch tell me about his upcoming vacation...
And told me, despite Her best intentions, She was still going to become an Officer in this group....
And did NOT tell me that She heard in an off hand way, at the meeting, about a dear friend passing away.
I went to sleep, midnight.

Watched 'The Dark Knight' from 00 to 0300, then a CSI-NY from 0300 to 0400, then tried to go to sleep.
Awake 14:00.
She joined me; we watched "Django Unchained".
Then I watched Newsroom Season 2, Eps 1 through 6.
She joined me to watch that night's American Horror Story.
Sleep 0200 or so.

Still sick, and called in (texted) 'sick' to work...
While Merry went, with Babyman, to HB to pick up Psychotic Half Sister, then to East HollyKigh for Babyman's doctor appointment, then to The Valley to see our doctor regarding Her own UT infection, then home, long enough to get Stitch in the car, then took PHS and Babyman home and returned, and were almost home when Babyman called because he left prescriptions in the car... (aggravates me just to the write that).
So they turned around, went back to HB, THEN home.
During which time, I lay in bed, and watched all six episodes of Newsroom Season 3.

Supposed to be at work, 1400.
Called in, said I'd be in, closer to ...1930.
And did manage to get up and shower and dress and get to my car...and arrived at work 1930...
Feeling like crap.
My supervisor was there.... managed to arrange to get the other overnight guy, RT, to come finish my shift...
He arrived 2200, and I was out...
And napped in my car, before I was ready to put it in drive and 'go'.
Had to stop for gas enroute...
Arrived home...
She had chicken soup all but ready for me....
Went to bed, watching tv.

I was supposed to work this day starting 0900.
But ..I woke up 0730 to 800..and called in sick.
My stomach/abdomen/gut was just... errgh...
Spent the day in bed, watching movies/football/movies and in and out of sleep.
