She came to bed, and we watched the two hour first episode of "Aquarius".

05.28 Thursday Diary
02:30 up Pee and snack.
07:25 up to feed dogs and caats and open gatel
11:15 up... Merry cooked eggs, and I ate 'em over a rice cake
ANd we talked and I went through and recorded mail.
We showered and dressed....
In the car, me driving...
Walmart for Her prescriptions and some shopping...
Home Depot for string for the 'whip'...
Chase, to empty my checking account.
Wells Fargo, to deposit the money...
Winco for more grocery shopping..
And home.
I unloaded, then put it all away.
I grabbed Stitch, and we went out to the garage to grab a couple shelving units, that had swing doors attached. We cleaned 'em up, brought em in to the kitchen, removed the open wire unit, and put these units in it's place, then moved whatever stuff was on the wire unit to the closed shelf units.
Then I got out my Dremel rotary tool and went into the back yard, removed my shoes and socks, and ground down the ugly nails on the big toes of each of my feet.
Back in the house, in the bedroom, I read the LA Times, from Monday, while not watching ... Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, and when it came on, I watched "500 Questions."
Dinner... steak and onions, green beans, rice.
THen I watched "The Newsroom" 2: 2.
And fell asleep 23:30.

While at work...

Munched on carrots, t-chips, rice cake .
Watched "Dolly and Em" Season 1 : 2.
Watched "The Newsroom" Season 1: 1, 2, 3.
..while using my tablet to look over Tumblr, and older stuff from my flash drive.
Off work 6:32, and on toilet.
Car 06:45, and home 7:31.
Fed the animals...
Put together my DM ... pulled pork, scrambled eggs, over a crumbled rice cake .
In the bedroom, Merry was awake, we watched "500 Questions" from Monday night.
0945 to sleep.
11:00 Up for p & s.
12:30 Up to p.
14:00 awake for a minute
16:00 awake for a minute and asleep and awake and asleep and
1730 giving up, getting up.
Toilet...shower...dressed... alka seltzer... packed ... talked with Merry... toilet...
and out.
18:36 Car. 19 21 work.
Monday night's work was all but done.
I had to do usual clean up on Tuesday morning, along with p.m. set up.
Merry forwarded to me a voicemail that was left to Her or Babyman re Her ex's (She calls him 'Deadbeat')decision to give up, or abandon his challenge on the conservatorship of Babyman.
If he had decided this long ago, it would have saved Merry and her PBS a great deal of time and effort...ah well.
Anyway, I was not at all sure just why Merry was forwarding this to me; I have steadfastly remained UNinvolved in the entire matter, and saw no need to become involved.
And the resulting exchange of texts ending in Her writing to me, 'Oh fuck you'
And me writing, "that puts an end to the conversation, don't call me tonight."
There are very few things I dislike as much as being told 'Fuck you' by text or email. I can't read a facial expression, or hear a tone of voice. So...
We spoke and made up, later on, but for a while, it was, in my head, quite aggravating.

05.25 Monday Diary --- Memorial Day
Raw-ther quiet at work...
Watched "The Newsroom", season 3: 3 -- 6, which finished season six, and was the finale of the show. Bummer.
06:28 Off work, on toilet...until
06:47 in car... and
07:17 home. 25 miles in 30 minutes. Love holiday traffic
The front wooden door was *&^%$ locked.
I just don't see the fuckin' point of locking that door, when there are FOUR people and Dog-knows how many canines in the house at any given time.
The only reason it's annoying to have that door locked is the the key cylinder is slightly 'off', so it takes some fuddling to get the key to turn the lock. Less so for me than for others, but it's annoying nonetheless.
Oh, shocker, I opened the door and Stitch was home. Which should not have surprised me that he was home on a holiday.
But it explained why the door was locked....
Donna was running around, so he had fed the two dogs already.
I knew Merry was ...well... probably...awake...as She had been playing Trivia Crack against me... apps on our phones .. since 6 a.m.
I prepped dinner ... bbq pulled pork... over a bowl of rice ... tortilla chips on the side... and went into the bedroom... and we watched "Nurse Jackie".
I went to sleep, around 0900
1230ish up to pee...and finish the peppermint ice cream...
1530 awake and to sleep
1630 awake, and to sleep
1735 awake, as Merry walked in...saying "I knew you were awake..."
Well, not really, but enough to see my alarm was going off in a matter of minutes so...
She told me about somebody that She recently been communicating with .. and was quite happy / excited about it.
Well, good!
She deserves some kinda joy in Her life.
I hope it works out well.
Me: up and showered and dressed... and prepped my bags with food stuffs like carrots, an apple, rice cakes, tortilla chips, and a plastic bottle of extra Mountain Dew.
And drank some Alka seltzer.
Then went to the toilet.
Merry was looking over some older FL posts, and happened on one featuring a you tube video of "If you wanna be happy..." and She started playing it...and we did a bit of a dance to it in the middle of the floor, even had Stitch join in .. followed by Donna.
I eventually made it to my car, off and rolling 1847.
At work 1921. Love that Holiday (non) traffic.
Work: with 90 rides from Monday ...and 90 for Tuesday... not much going on, but still some oversight necessary.

4:00 pee and snack

Merry made breakfast, scrambled eggs and tortilla chips.
Brought my laundry in from the dryer.
Watched "The Newsroom" 3 : 1 & 2.
Merry got herself showered and dressed, and left the house around 12:30, to pick up HLB to go on to do a demonstration, fund raiser.
I got up..
Toilet, showered, dressed, toilet, packed up, including food (apple, carrots, t-chips), toilet again, took alka seltzer and a probiotic, then out to my car, and back in for a hair-tie, and in gear 14:33.
First stop, the Arco 2 miles from home, where regular is $3.60 a gallon.
Once rolling, I stopped at the 7-11 on SMB for e-cig filters. Last time I bought filters was May 4, and the second of those two is not done yet, but I figure, gonna be soon.
At work, 15:46.
60 rides for all day Sunday, lookin at 87 for Monday.
This is not busy.
I read The Hollywood Reporter, and two different issues of Westways.

Awake 10:00... We watched "The Newsroom" 2:4 together...
She got up and as She was walking out, She mentioned being behind in laundry, and I kinda sarcastically said, "Yeah, cuz you are so busy from a fulltime job, then going to school...."
She said, "Stop it."
I continued, "Then home, cleaning and cooking...."
And that was it.
She turned around, and fell face down on the bed.
After a few minutes, She got up and left.
A bit later, she returned, as Sunshine.
Meanwhile, I tried using my laptop...managed one day of my diary, in the space of several hours...
Changed my daily notebook...again....
While she watched.... and I listened to...as my back was turned "Wayward Pines" and "Elementary"...
Then the movie from years ago, "Constantine"
Then while she shredded pork, in the kitchen, I sat at her desktop, to input my diaries for Thursday Friday and 1/2 of Saturday....
Back on the bedroom, watched NR 2:5, 6, 7
Dinner, BBQ pulled pork on rice, with tortilla chips.
I apologized for mouthing off like a jerk, earlier,
Which She accepted.
We watched 2: 8&9.

Whipped the outer yard.
Cut the branches of the thorny bush that were intruding onto the sidewalk..
Checked on Merry, made sure She was up..
And She was out, to a monthly appointment..
Continued, whipping the inner yard, until the whip ran out of cord.
Used rope to straighten up the fence...
Took a saw to the bottom boards of the gate, as they were scraping so much, it was difficult to open the gate.
Merry home...
Done, I went in..
And we started a ...difficult ...discussion ... about which bills to pay.
We got through it, and finished around 1400.
I took a shower...
And headed to the bedroom, with a snack of celery, carrots, tortilla chips..\
She got Babyman up and out of bed, and went to the market.
I watched "The Newsroom" season 2: 1 & 2.
She returned home...

My long a.m. shift at work.
Watched "the Newsroom" episodes 1: 1 - 5.

Did some dishes.
Ate some chips while reading Monday's NY Times.
1015 Tried to take a nap.
UP 11:30, pee, snack...
Laying on the bed, an erection popped up, Merry was laying next to me.
I showed it to her.
Which led to ...sex (intercourse) and an orgasm for me.
Then talk, pee again, talk.
14:15 getting dressed.
14:35 in car.
AT the office of my new doctor, ten minutes later, and filling out 5 or 6 pages of forms. In a waiting room 1520 or so. Dr Bell came in , around 16:00.
And we talked for about 1/2 an hour.
He's getting me a referral to a (local) GI, and for now, suggested we look into Gluten-intolerance. which is to say, I stay away from gluten for the next 28 days until my next appointment with him, and we'll talk again.
Merry got called to go pick up Babyman, who was having many seizures.
We had stripped the bed before we left, and put the covers and sheets and the wash. Once home, now, I put them through a second rinse.
Then I sat in my chair with chips and the US News...and took a nap.
Got up to put the sheets in the dryer...back to nap... up to put the sheets on the bed.
ANd watched "Wheel of Fortune", then the new show, "500 Questions."
Heated up leftover pork chops from the previous night...
2100 sleeping, whne Merry came home, after leaving Babyman at KrHC.

UP 11:30, pee, snack...
Laying on the bed, an erection popped up, Merry was laying next to me.
I showed it to her.
Which led to ...sex (intercourse) and an orgasm for me.
Then talk, pee again, talk.
14:15 getting dressed.
14:35 in car.
AT the office of my new doctor, ten minutes later, and filling out 5 or 6 pages of forms. In a waiting room 1520 or so. Dr Bell came in , around 16:00.
And we talked for about 1/2 an hour.
He's getting me a referral to a (local) GI, and for now, suggested we look into Gluten-intolerance. which is to say, I stay away from gluten for the next 28 days until my next appointment with him, and we'll talk again.
Merry got called to go pick up Babyman, who was having many seizures.
We had stripped the bed before we left, and put the covers and sheets and the wash. Once home, now, I put them through a second rinse.
Then I sat in my chair with chips and the US News...and took a nap.
Got up to put the sheets in the dryer...back to nap... up to put the sheets on the bed.
ANd watched "Wheel of Fortune", then the new show, "500 Questions."
Heated up leftover pork chops from the previous night...
2100 sleeping, whne Merry came home, after leaving Babyman at KrHC.

05.19 Tues Diary
At work, watched "The Newsroom" season 3: 3 - 6.
OFF work, in 'my' car, 06:40.
Stopped for gas, thirteen bucks bought 3.11 gallons.
Home, 7:35.
Fed 2 dogs, and 3 cats.
Prepped my DM. (frozen pizza, along with leftover pieces of orange chicken, and tortilla chips.)
In the bedroom, Merry was sound asleep, having gotten up early to take Stitch to work, and returned by 0705, She told me later, and She crashed hard.
So I read the Monday LA Times, that I brought home from the office.
Sleep 845.
Awake 1445... long up to pee, back to sleep.
Up with alarm 1745....
Showered, dressed, toilet...
Then spent a few minutes talking with Merry, who had spent some time with ..well, another guy with whom She has hopes of cultivating some type of D/s relationship..
And we went outside, and I had Her for the first time, get in my car, just to drive it around the corner, out of the no-parking-Wednesday zone into the okay-parking-zone-Wednesday.
Packed my stuff, kissed Her, good bye... got into Her car, then out of Her car, and back to the bedroom, in search of my e-cig, which I found, and returned to the car.
1840, rolling, and at work 1935.
THe crisis of the night was: the phones are all supposed to be logged out of, by reservationists, as of 22:00. But when the last res't departed, some phone was NOT logged out of, so that any person calling in to reservations had a SEVEN minute wait in the reservations queue before the call 'rolled over' into my department.
So I spent some time running around in Reservations, trying to find said phone. Then found the general instructions for 'logging out reservations agents' which failed, when I reached a login/password box for which I did not have the necessary credentials.
At some point during this stretch, Merry called in to say 'good night' and I admit, I may have sounded a bit 'terse'.
Sorry about that. Well, when She calls me at work, She has no clue what kinda shit I'm shoveling, at the time She's calling.
I had to give up. If any clients called in on the reservations line, they'd just have to wait it out.

05.18 Monday Diary
0015 Pill...
Updated diary the previous Saturday and Sunday...
Watched "The Newsroom" season 3: 1 & 2.
Off work and out 6:28.
Stopped to get 10 bucks wortha gas at $4.21 / gal.
Listened to multiple reports on the news of an overturned truck on the SB 5/EB 60.
So I stayed on the SB 101 into the EB 10, then SB 710, and had no significant problems other than the usual (traffic).
7.16 Home.
I unlocked and opened the security/screen door.
The wood door was locked.
Why? Who the fuck locked it? There are FOUR people inside the house, which idiot thinks this door needs to be locked, like the security door isn't enough... along with the two to six dogs that are inside the house depending on the time of day, who bark themselves hoarse when the mailman comes up the steps...
The lock on the wood door can be fussy. I don't have a problem, but sometimes it can take more than a second. I had the key in the lock, and ... Stitch yanked the door open, very nearly breaking off the key in the lock while I was holding it.
Just what I needed once I got home.
DM: warmed up chicken breast and red beans /rice.
While watching "Nurse Jackie"
And playing 'Trivia Crack' on my phone against Merry. She challenged me, last night, and we've been going back and forth.
0915 to sleep.
I was awake ..off and on.... I guess...
She called around 3...to tell me to plan to take my car to work.
Alarm off 1745 Up 1755.
...In the living room, as Merry and Stitch arrived home.
Stitch brought in stuff from Wal mart.
I hit the toilet, showered...dressed....
Merry told me that we are getting Babyman, this coming Friday, for the holiday week end.
And he wants a haircut.
I think he needs to be made aware of how short our money is.
Then
A kiss goodbye...
And out, into my car 1844
710 OK, NB 5 ok, but crawling on the 101.
At work 1938.
At work...night work done, just 'babysitting'...
Lots of tinkering to do on the next day, though.
Then:
She requested before I left home that I read "Dan's blog" and Her post on it, and I did.
D-Supervisor came in late to update ADP and print out time sheets that we are 'supposed to' sign, before payday the coming Friday... and he asked if I would cover an overnight shift on 6/6.
That IS the night of 1) the Poly Meet up dinner and 2) the LICK party in OC,
and I agreed to work the shift.
IF Merry wants to attend either one of the events, She can go with Stitch. Or figure out somethin' else.

03:00 up for toilet...
Back in bed, She had started watching "RIPD" and ..I finished watching it.
Then "Heat" started, and I watched that.
Then "Expendables 3" was about 10 minutes in, on another channel, and I watched THAT.
Then, toilet... and Pill...and to sleep, 0800.
10:00 awake.
12:00 awake and up, toilet.
13:30 awake.
14:30 awake.
15:10 up and moving.
Toilet, shower, dress, pack....
Kissed Her good-bye.
Coco had given Her, $200 as half months' rent.
At first, I blew up, saying, "Why should they dictate to us, how they're going to do or pay it? They moved in without negotiating a fucking thing."
She went off to talk to Coco about it, and after a minute, I followed Her, and said, "Just let it go."
Anyway, thinking I might need gas or other, I mooched some of th' cash from Her...
15:55 in car.
4 lanes squeezed into 2 on the NB 710.
Then slow going on the NB 5 AND the 101.
At work 16:55.
Night work under control, 111 rides for Sunday, and most of the night work being done by ...US.

And started watching Criminal Minds episodes...
(season 5: 11 - 15)
Merry got up 10ish.. hurriedly dressed and went out to bank and market for a birthday card...
Returned and showered, and waited for #2 Son to come pick up Her up and take Her with him...and his girl friend...and on the way, pick up #4 Son, to attend 3rd year birthday party of #5 Son ... to which I was not invited ... for which there was not room in the car, had I been invited... for which I was too sick to attend, had I been invited... but, hey, I wasn't invited.
While watching tv in our bedroom, I brought in the weeks' pile o bills and started recording them in my notebook...
And sorted through my collection of multi-color pens....
And settled in to watch "The Newsroom" season 1: 10 (final ep of season 1).
Meanwhile, Coco and her boss were in the garage.
Coco just asked us for permission to convert some part of the garage into a dog kennel, while Boss waited on zoning permission or some such , to create one at a permanent place. We just said okay to this, like the day before, and today, they were at it.
Instead of needing the larger space in the front of the garage, which would have taken some major rearrangement, Boss decided the smaller room to the left would be sufficient...and they went about rearranging... and moving boxes up into the attic, etc.
At some point, I realized... they or he or she had already moved dogs in there.
Seemed to me, rent should be paid in advance, you know?
Started laundry...
Watched "The Newsroom" Ssn 2:1.
Input my diary for Friday.
Watched "The Newsroom 2:2 through 5.
Merry arrived home...
Or Sunshine, actually, telling me how stuffed she was of all-you-can-eat chicken and pizza.
And She provided me with a bowl of leftover chili, and tortilla chips, while I watched NR 2:6.
I brought my laundry in, put it away...
And watched NR 2:7 & 8.
And fell asleep for a bit.
Woke up, and watched 2:9, which was the finale for season 2.
And to sleep, around 01:00.

Sometime after Stitch returned home and took a shower, I swear he heard me come out of my bedroom and so he stepped into the bathroom ahead of me, Merry and I took a shower together.
Then she started dinner and I retreated to our bedroom and read the Hollywood Reporter issue which I had brought home from work.
I started falling asleep, and woke up when she brought me dinner, leftover chili over French fries, which I had suggested and requested.
I watched Newsroom 1:8 while I ate,
Finished, I went back to sleep.
I'm writing this on a tablet, and inputting the stats table is a hemorrhoid on this thing, so, maybe tomorrow, the stats will appear.

02:45 Up to pee, snack, a Fanatin, back to sleep around 04.
8:30, up, pee, feed the animals, fix the screen door, start the dishwasher, wash other dishes, scoop the back yard, unlock the back gate, put cat food in the garage, fill the big dog bottle, bring in a crate of water bottles, leave a check for Pool guy, scoop bedroom litter box, make coffee and back on bedroom, 0940.
Watched SVU from last night, went through TV Guide, gave Merry a body rub, as a 20 month anniversary present went into garage with Coco, started to read Science of Mind when May called, stranded away from home in heavy rain.
Merry asked sweetly if I would go pick her up at Staples and take her home, and I consented.
Home, slightly over an hour later, and I continued with reading SoM.
Then, we watched the movie Tommy.
And nap, 6 to 8:30.
Awake for dinner, homemade chili.
While watching The Expendables 3
Followed by Remember the Titans
Whiched ended at 0100.
I started to watch the last hour of AvP Requiem, and the cable channel froze.
I gave up on it after 5 minutes, and rolled over ton go to sleep, while Sunshine started watching RVIP.
Stats, next time, maybe.

Popcorn, pretzels, and a 17 oz bottle of aloe vera juice..

ANd just bombed by phone calls.
HORRIBLE morning...the worst I've had in a LONG time....
A request for a car with 90 min. notice, Baltimore area (no).
An existing order with no assigned affiliate in Philadelphia...
(it was sent through a computer relay called transponet and was 'rejected' on their end)....
Our only hotel account...calling up to order five cars from six a.m. to 10:00...
Some Australian client wanted to discuss a car for the day on the 17th.... (I asked her to call back in 15 minutes when a rez agent 'should be in)...
Just Horrible.
Until my rez agent, and other dispatcher...came in, about 0515.

An accident on the 710 close to my off ramp made my trip a dragging misery, arriving home at 1024.
Daily Meal , a can of chili heated and dumped over a basket of French fries, originally frozen then heated in the oven.
While watching CSI Cyber, one hour from Tuesday night.
Sleep, 12 to 8 pm.
Up when dinner was announced ready.
Meatloaf.
And we watched the two hour finale of CSI.
Back to sleep, 2300.

05.12 Tuesday Diary
(at work)
Watched "The Newsroom" season 2: 8 & 9; season 3: 1, 2, 3 & 4.
Off work 6:34, and in car.
Accident on the Northbound 101, which made everybody on the southbound, the way I was going, 101 ...slow down and look...
Then the 710 was just dragging along...
7:37, home.
Fed the cats, then the dogs.
Started the dishwasher.
Started dinner: some kinda frozen-pizza-for-one, along with a bowl of the leftover rice in the pan, along with aloe vera juice to drink.
In a cupboard I found the peanut butter and chocolate cookies that Merry had bought for me yesterday, but had yet to mention.
I went in the bedroom, and told Her how much I love Her and appreciate, that She always thinks of me when She goes to the market.
We watched the two hour episode of "The Following."
She kinda freaked out when it ended, and She thought it was 'over', but I said, no, there's two more hours, NEXT Monday.
1030..sleep.
1145...awake, pee, alka seltzer.
1600, up, pee, snack (cookies!) aloe vera juice, alka seltzer.
1745 and 1755, up with alarm. She was home, having spent some part of the day running errands and taking Babyman home....
I went to the toilet..and vomited, just a little... then shower and dressed, and sat on the toilet.
Moved my car so it wouldn't get a ticket, Wednesday morning.
Kissed Her, good bye.

We were finishing the day with 189 rides....mostly, clients returning from NY (from the Upfronts)... some, in prep for the American Idol finale, on Wednesday. ....Farmed 97.

Accident on the Northbound 101, which made everybody on the southbound, the way I was going, 101 ...slow down and look...
Then the 710 was just dragging along...
7:37, home.
Fed the cats, then the dogs.
Started the dishwasher.
Started dinner: some kinda frozen-pizza-for-one, along with a bowl of the leftover rice in the pan, along with aloe vera juice to drink.
In a cupboard I found the peanut butter and chocolate cookies that Merry had bought for me yesterday, but had yet to mention.
I went in the bedroom, and told Her how much I love Her and appreciate, that She always thinks of me when She goes to the market.
We watched the two hour episode of "The Following."
She kinda freaked out when it ended, and She thought it was 'over', but I said, no, there's two more hours, NEXT Monday.
1030..sleep.
1145...awake, pee, alka seltzer.
1600, up, pee, snack (cookies!) aloe vera juice, alka seltzer.
1745 and 1755, up with alarm. She was home, having spent some part of the day running errands and taking Babyman home....
I went to the toilet..and vomited, just a little... then shower and dressed, and sat on the toilet.
Moved my car so it wouldn't get a ticket, Wednesday morning.
Kissed Her, good bye.

We were finishing the day with 189 rides....mostly, clients returning from NY (from the Upfronts)... some, in prep for the American Idol finale, on Wednesday. ....Farmed 97.

In the house...
Put my mini-speaker on a charger.
Feed the cats, and then Cookie..
Then let Donna out.
Was about to feed her, when Coco let HER four dogs out, and I was surrounded, prompting me to shout 'G..D..IT' which motivated her to corral the dogs long enough for Donna to gulp down the kibble I gave her.
In the kitchen: emptied the dishwasher, put in more dishes...
Started my DM: a leftover chicken breast from last night, the last of the stir fry from (Thursday or Friday) in a bowl with rice, leftover from last night or so.
Into the bedroom... Merry was awake when She shouldn't have been... She'd been awake ..and trying to sleep...most of the night...
I, or we, watched "Nurse Jackie" while I ate.
Took my dishes and tray into the kitchen, and spooned up some chocolate ice cream...
Into bed, to sleep 8:49.
1445 up to pee... 1500 Pill ....
Eyes open 1545, 1645, 1715 ..
1755 Up. Spoke to Merry, who was at the computer desk, and She told me about Her shopping trip.
Toilet...shower, dress, toilet...

Cleaned up, and dressed, and sorted my coin box a bit...
Got Stitch to go with me, and went off to Meredian Coins in Torrance.
They close at 4; I arrived around 1515, a bit nervous about them or him or her having enough time...
BUT...he did, and gave me $33 cash and a check for $1067 for my collection.
We went across the BIG street, to Daiso, and picked up a couple interesting pens for 1.50 each, and a small pocket diary I've been jonesing for, and rice candy for Merry...
Then we went to Ace Beauty supply, and picked up a box of the rubber gloves that Merry uses for just about everything...
Then we went to a branch of Chase, and I deposited the check...
Then to a drive through Mickey Dee's, for an iced coffee that I've been longing for...
Headed home, and stopped at the Arco on LBB for a tank of gas, and it was 35c a gallon cheaper here, than anyplace we saw in Torrance...
ANd home.
Sunshine was at the desk computer, and said 'hello'.
I gave her the rice candy, and she was thrilled.
And quickly ate two boxes, then said, her tummy hurt.
I took the other four boxes, to give to Merry, later.
And put my laundry in the wash.

I got up 0900 to unlock the back gate for the Pool Guy, which we've been consistently doing, at that time on Thursday, which seems silly, since he never comes in before noon....

We watched "Catch and Release" together, not my genre of movies to watch, but it featured Kevin Smith in an acting role, not as writer or director.
Watched "Criminal Minds" season 7, eps 23 and 24.
Watched the last 90 minutes or so of "Predators" then the last hour of "Aliens".
Then watched an ep of "Our America with Lisa Ling" featuring families into polyamory.

05.05 Tuesday Diary
Watched The Newsroom, eps 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
5:15 gave Merry a wake up call.
6:15 Merry arrived to pick me up, and I was out, and in the car with her, and on the way home.
07:00 Home.
I moved my car from the Tuesday-no-parking side, to the other side of the street...
And grabbed super glue, to try to glue the outside drivers side rear view mirror, back into place.
...while she let Donna out, and went about emptying the dishwasher, then refilling it.
..Fed the dogs...
And started breakfast, heating up leftover meatloaf...
And we went into the bedroom, and watched The Following.
Which ended at 8:37, and we notice that "Guardians of the Galaxy" was just starting on some cable channel, so I set it to record on the DVR, and started to watch it.
And realized, I had to get up by like 5 o'clock, so watching this whole movie would be counter productive, and turned it off at 09:30, and went to sleep.
Awake on and off as I usually am...
Awake 1600, and dozing...until my alarm went off at 16:50, and I snoozed it, and got up when it went off again at 17:00.
Toilet...shower...dress...alka seltzer.... toilet...
Moved my car from the Wednesday-no-parking side, to the other side of the street, while Merry went to find the car key that she had hidden when we came home that morning.
17:38 in the car and rolling
18:29 at the office... and on the toilet.
Then into the Dispatch-adjacent office for the meeting with the Ops Manager.
Which was all about...my absences from work and my health.
I spoke of my GP, and how unhelpful he has been ...
And new insurance, and a new GP, and an appointment on 5/20.
ANd that was that, but still took close to an hour, I was in my position by 19:25.
Another evening of taking care of night work, while cleaning up the morning assignments.

Once the fires died out...
I caught up on diary entries...
And started watching "The Newsroom" on my tablet.

6:30 off work, in car.
Stopped at a 7-11 to get the refill filters for my e-cig, first ones I've bought in ...quite a while. I have not been hitting on it much at all lately... mostly when driving or sitting at work.
7:18, home.
Let Donna out, fed two dogs and five cats.
Cookie's butt area was a mess. Sometimes when she poops, it gets caught in the hair around her butt, and it sticks...and clumps...and ..
Anyway, I cleaned her up there, and trimmed some of the hair.
I looked around for some important mail that was in the living room before our friends visited on Friday, and has since gone missing.
My fear is that Stitch threw it away, as he often does with anything that doesn't belong to him or seem important.
I went into the bedroom, and got out the plastic box that holds my coin collection....and pulled out the statehood quarters, the ones that I had taken out of circulation... pocket change.... over twenty bucks worth.
Then I cut and peeled the last of some potatoes that had seen better days and fried them up, then warmed up a few tortillas...
And went into bedroom to have the breakfast while watching Nurse Jackie.
Then I called the office of the doctor that I had just gotten myself assigned to....to make an appointment.
First available, May 20th. Geez.
And to sleep, 0955.
UP 11:30, Pee and snack.
Merry had gone out to run errands.
She called me at 1515 to say she "had an accident".
Something about the driver's side outside mirror.
I feel like, God had decided to NOT give us any breaks.
UP and awake 1600, 1630, 1700.
DB, my work supervisor, sent me a text, saying our ops manager wants a meeting with me, 1830 on Tuesday, if it works for me.
Our streak of (bad)luck continues.
Should I have anything to worry about?
In our previous meeting, sort of a state-of-the-company address, in a one-on-one meeting he had with each dispatcher, all went well, until it ended with a warning to me to stay away from .... adult sites? porn? on the company computer.
Well, I've cut out 99% of it.
This blog ...might...be considered an adult site... so I dunno.
Part of me thinks, Oh, FML, what now....
Part of me thinks, well, if I get fired,
I could go drive Lyft/Uber full time, and I'd need, oh about a thousand a week to maintain health insurance and bring home about what I am now.
SO, what's the worst that can happen?
AND I got up, went to the bathroom, threw up for a while... I think those potatoes were a bit 'off'...and pooped...
Merry offered to drive me to work...and I accepted, once we figured out where gas money was coming from.
Ah, remember the quarters?
I showered and dressed, and got out of the bathroom, and Stitch went in for his after-work shower....
Merry went to the car and waited for us, and we came to the car about 1835.
She told me the quick and dirty story of her 'accident'.... she was going through the drive -through at a bank, and didn't see the pole.
She used duct tape and said, it seems to be holding.
I arrived at work 1915 or so...
A peaceful enough shift at work: lots of morning work to refigure... no huge challenges,
I missed the noon pill ..and was told my alarm for it woke Merry up...
So I took one around 15:00

Merry offered to drive me to work...and I accepted, once we figured out where gas money was coming from.

I showered and dressed, and got out of the bathroom, and Stitch went in for his after-work shower....
Merry went to the car and waited for us, and we came to the car about 1835.
She told me the quick and dirty story of her 'accident'.... she was going through the drive -through at a bank, and didn't see the pole.
She used duct tape and said, it seems to be holding.
I arrived at work 1915 or so...
A peaceful enough shift at work: lots of morning work to refigure... no huge challenges,
I missed the noon pill ..and was told my alarm for it woke Merry up...
So I took one around 15:00
And again 2130.

05.03 Sunday Diary
And started on Newsroom season three.

Finished season three. Only six episodes. Pill 0700..
and trying to sleep.

and back to sleepus interruptus for awhile.

Kissed Merry, good bye...
Car 1827.
Gauge showed "18 miles remaining".
Stopped at gas station, for all I could afford, fifteen dollars (3.81 gallons)
At work 19:16.
Not a rough night, not an easy night, just a busy one.
Dealing with Sunday night's work, and Monday morning's...
And more reservations calls than I've had on the late shift in a long time...
At 2245, a network person called to book a car for a guest, outside of Phoenix, for 01:15 ... and a 4:15 return from the studio.
My co worker KW handled most of it, and was on hold for awhile, before our primary Phoenix affiliate agreed to cover it.
At midnight (0300 Eastern) I spoke to a network person, requesting a 4:30 pickup in Fredericksburg, to go to their DC bureau, for a wait and return. That's 90 minutes notice, in a town in which we don't have a primary provider, but is in between two affiliates we have, about 60 miles from either.
Seven calls to DC affiliates, two calls to Richmond affiliates, and no help.
I called the network person back, who did not seem too terrible disappointed, or surprised, that I could not get it covered.

Stitch was home, off work, due to some maintenance going on at his workplace, but he didn't mention this the night before because he said, he thought Merry was too busy, to mention it.
Meanwhile, Sherman was home...all day... packing to move out.
I called Cal Choice to establish a PCP (doctor) nearby us.
Merry left to run errands (drop SS form, get Her own prescriptions at WM, get some groceries..)
And I begin some housecleaning, preparatory to company coming over.
Stitch had already cleaned the bathroom, for which I was grateful.
We swept and mopped the living room and entryway and kitchen.
Sherman got in the way, taking apart his computer in the living room, and managed to finish in time for us to finish and set up the living room.
Then he managed to get into the shower, like two minutes before I was about to....
..I had my phone in my hand to call or text Merry, and tell Her not to call me if She was arriving home with groceries...for help..as I would be in the shower.... when my phone rang, from Her, and She said She was about ten minutes away. SO I waited...
She pulled out, Stitch and I went out to the car to bring stuff in...
Then I got in the shower.
Dried, dressed, and ready.... about 15:20, and I had my phone in hand to call and try to make an appointment with my new doctor, when they (M&M) arrived at the door ....and Stitch was still in the shower.
Merry showed them in, we chatted awhile, and once Stitch was ready, the five of us sat down at the table, to play 'Cards against Humanity'.
We played until about 20:00... then M(f) excused them because (M)m had to get home and use a nebulizer.
I went and took a nap from 2030 to about 2130.
UP for dinner...meatloaf...
In bed...
watched Agents of Shield...
She joined me, and we watched Gotham....
