I decided this was my day of rest.

Whenever I woke up , I went back to sleep.

Sunshine asked me to come to living room to lay on couch, so that she wouldn't have to continue coming into bedroom to bother me.
I was okay with that.
She left sometime after 12 for her therapy appt.
I went back to bed room.

I heard him come in but she left me alone.

I got up 17:30 or so....

Toilet, toilet....
Pill, Alka, Ibu for my aches n pains...
Showered dressed..... ready

Friday March 24th Diary Moving

Denny arrived for a.m. shift at 4:20.   I called Merry to come n get me!

Ate tortillas w butter, and  pie.

Up with Stitch to finish unloading truck.
Put all in garage except the pieces of his bed, which we took upstairs.
I moved the truck, bought gas  $34.
And returned the truck,  aroun 10:00.
Waited for M, who was at a Drs office, waiting to be seen.
The owner of the Uhaul allowed me use of a charger as my phone had gone dead.
M arrived. We went to 99c store; I waited and dozed in car.
We stopped at CJrs.

Thursday Mar 23rd Diary MOVING

Watched  The Newsroom  3: 4,5,6 then The West Wing 1: 1--4

M picked me up from work  6:00

M took me to the Old , and took off with S to go shopping, so I spent a couple hours in the library packing and moving boxes, and getting them on the truck ... in the dark, as the electricity had been turned off at our request.
M & S returned 14:30.... S finished packing the library, not much left there.
We did a few final walk throughs to make sure the house was empty  (but not clean, really)
M went to do more shopping.
S rode with me to the New,  and we commenced unloading.

Stopped  at 18:15 or so

Wednesday March 22 Diary Moving

IN 00:01
  Denny had come in late, like 3:00, so he was staying to 01:30
But he went down to take a nap for '20 minutes' and he was gone for an hour.
After switching from Frontier to Spectrum, my login for HBO GO does not work,  so I borrowed Denny's so I could watched The Newsroom.

I checked on M at 515, to see if she was on the way to get me. She was.
Then she called me back a bit later...stuck on the 710N, near the 105 due to an accident.
By the time she got to the office...630.

Home 7:15.    Snacked on gf cookies and p chips.
7:30 sleep.

She called around 1100 to check on me, saying she had kidnapped Stitch to go shopping.
I finally got up and moving around noon.
I started with moving the truck from the other side of the street to our side.

Packing and more.
With Stitch home, I said, let's clear each room, one by one.
FIrst  BR1  and done.
Then BR3 and done.
Then BR2, which took more time, then we loaded up the queen bed, and took it to the truck, followed by two small chests of drawers.
We started working on the living room... taking stuff out to the porch then the truck.
I took down the computer.
We moved the desk to the truck, followed by her filing cabinet.

I went out to start on the library.

Had to call J to bring more boxes.
That turned into an adventure, but she wound up getting em at HD for 77c/box when they cost over $2 at Public Storage.

We decided to keep the truck ANOTHER day, and that S would call in sick for a 3rd day.

Stitch closed up the truck around 2100; and together we continued to box up the books in the library, until 2208.
Then we tried to lock u the back of the truck, not doing well, until Merry arrived, and told us we had to push the ramp all the way in.  Yep, then I was able to lock it down.
And off to work, M driving.
A bit of a surprise with the 710N connector to 5N connector closed...so we continued on to the 60W into the 101.
At work 2300,   in  23:12.
M & S departed to go home.

Denny offered to me a leftover plate of rice n teriyaki chicken, which I accepted....

Tuesday March 21 Diary Moving

UP 8 ish.
Stitch hard at work.
Merry was at the New, unpacking while doing many loads of laundry.
I continued with packing up BR1.

Finished...
Stitch and loaded up the heavy dresser, the long dresser, the tall dresser, and the two short dressers from BR1 onto the truck.

Then I proceeded the take down of the heavy metal bed, with Stitch's assistance.
We got all the pieces, and mattress and box springs on the truck..
And headed for the New.  (around 16:00)

We arrived, and started with unloaded the metal bed pieces.
Got it upstairs, and I put the bed together.
Then we brought up the mattresses and box springs....
Then we unloaded the furniture pieces into the garage rather than bring it upstairs.
And unloaded the last of the boxes.

I spent some time finding the boxes with my clothes in them, so I could change.
Once accomplished, I headed to Old in the truck, leaving M & S behind to shower at the New.

Back at Old I showered and changed into fresh clothes, and waited for M to bring the car so I could go to work.
In the meantime, the cats who had been missing for a day or two started showing up, hungry, and I corralled them into the storeroom/bedroom.

M called at 2300 to say, they had just finished their showers.... and asked if she still had time for a shopping trip. I said no.

M & S came to the Old.  We loaded my bags, and departed the house, with M driving, me to work.

Arrived and clocked in,  00:00.

Monday March 20 Diary Moving

Alarms off 7:15
I got up 8:00  and violently ill again.
Finally moving around 10:00
And began packing up BR1

By late afternoon, we had a truck load, and Stitch and I went to New, and unloaded.

There was a bit of an altercation, when Donna went out the open door, to chase a lady walker and her two small dogs.....   No harm, but Sunshine's feelings got hurt.
Done unloading...
Sunshine ordered pizza from Domino's.
While I put together the bigger of the new couches from Ikea.
We ate....

Stitch and I returned to the Old,  and collapsed...around midnight.

Sunday March 19th Diary Moving

No notes  written, so from memory several days later

UP 8:00 but very sick, throwing up

Moving around....

Denny came over, after picking up two able bodied helpers...
He and helpers took the load in truck to New, unloaded it, and got the furniture that was in the garage upstairs.
He returned....I had nothing for him to do til we packed, so he went on his way, the helpers stayed...
and Helped us load truck....

Until we had a load , and took it to New.

They got it upstairs or garage as required.   ...by 13:30

I took those two and Stitch to lunch at Mcdonalds.
And returned to New.
Decided there was not much else for them to do.
So I took them back to Home Depot then I returned to Old.
Took a nap, and resumed packing.

Of course, the copy machine only had one sheet, so I had to find more paper.  I blurted a loud curse at that, and turned out, and DB was standing right behind me. "Everything all right?"
Everything was fine except my heart, gave me such a start.
Made copies of the ESA for Merry.
Exchanged emails with CJ, and he sent a document stating what good tenants we've been, which I printed, and emailed to Mike as an attachment.
