Up 03:00 to pee and get a snack..
She was up and at the desk top, saying She woke up and couldn't sleep.
Awake again to hammering noise outside, at 915, because Bullfrog had taken it upon himself to do some remodeling...once again...without asking anybody.
Back to sleep, sort of...
And up 1030, to start laundry, help Stitch a little, to set up his phone....
To switch stuff on the old and new tablet, to show Merry the tablet, see if She might use it...

Laundry in dryer...
Coffee....
Laundry in and away.
13:45 up to shower and LOCK UP and dress.
Kiss Sunshine good bye.

Stopped for gas, enough that should last my work week.
Stopped for filters for my e cig.

Surprised to see supervisor DB; found out he was filling in for the regular Sunday guy, SW.

9.26 Saturday Diary
10:00 awake and talking...
We decided to spend the day / evening, running around in the car... just time to ourselves.
We looked at movies, but nothing appealed.
We showered and dressed.
In my car, me driving 13:30.
First stop, Verizon store, to finally replace Stitch's phone that had been run over by a truck some months ago, so he's been using the phone I specifically acquired for Ubering or Lyfting.
That was rather painless. Even got a new tablet in exchange for trading in my very old phone. And got a hard case for my phone, which makes it much easier to hold onto.
We stepped out and went next door to a Marie Callender's.
Service was horrible. Worst I've had in ....one hell of a long time.
I insisted we leave a small tip, just to let him know we were not please, then Merry started complaining to the cashier when we went to pay, and the manager over heard Her, and listened to the whole story, and he took the check from us. So the whole thing, which wasn't that much, cost us the dollar I left on the table.
On down the road we went.... to one center where we found
A "Tuesday Morning" store, then a "Daiso" ...
then Pavillion's so She could pee, again....
ON down the road, hit the brakes and pulled into a center with a 99C store... came out, found a very small carousel with three horses, so Sunshine went for a ride on it ..
ON down the road to another center, where we went into
"Sprouts", 'HOme Goods', "Harbor Freight" ... and replaced the garden hose that our husky chewed up...
She peed into a cup, from the back seat of the car, because she couldn't hold it anymore...
We rolled on down to a Walmart where we had not been before, as she continued her quest for Mary Jane's... but none to be found at this one, either.
She used the bathroom here before continued on.
Dinner became a topic of discussion, and we drove a bit around this large center, but traffic was annoying, so we got out of there, and headed back to an area that we knew better....
and at her suggestion and my quick agreement, wound up at a Hometown Buffet.
And home, 2100.
Brought in 'the bags', presented Stitch with his new phone...etc.
I went into BR1, and watched "Scorpion", "Doll and Em" and "Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy"...
SHe came in and lay down next to me and fell asleep with Her phone in Her hand.

We got up, talked, and I started arranging the living room for filming, using the large coffee table as a bench.

Then I had a cramp down my left hip, and I had to stop...
Finished Her, orally...and we were done...

Then She got up, and we got dressed to go pick up #2 who was dropping a truck off, at his boss's house, very close to us, and needed a ride home...and out we went.

A very quiet night.... I found out earlier that Yom Kippur had started at sundown the night before....

Merry called me, hysterical..
I thought I heard "You need to come home now..."
I told Her I could NOT come home "now" if I wanted to keep this job...
She finally managed to tearfully explain that my beloved 14 year old chihuahua Cookie was dead... Merry found her, floating in the swimming pool....She must have gone out the back doggy door, and ... fallen in.
In between my own tears, and trying to not think about it for now,
watched 2:2, 2:3, 2:4.
Morning dispatch came in, as was a driver at the window, while I was looking at a link on FB that Merry had sent me for the Rainbow Bridge. I had tears in my eyes, enough for the driver and the dispatcher to ask me what was wrong...

Home 8:53.
Let the dogs out, fed the animals...
Went into the back yard, to open the bag and look at Cookie one last time, and started crying.
Put her back in the bag, went into the bedroom, and cried some more, as Merry pulled me down to hold me.
Finally up again.
We knew we had to do something with ... the body...it was quite warm...so we called around for pricing...
Settled on a place in Gardena...
We got up and dressed.
I put the bag, that contained Cookie, wrapped in a towel, laying on her special bed, in the back of the car.
Merry drove, off we went.
Place had a confusing layout, but we figured it out, and we know what to do when we come back, when they call and tell us to pick up the ashes.
Home, I exchanged texts with my ex-girl friend, the one who originally brought Cookie home to us, some 13 years ago, to let her know what happened.
Then it was time to get something to eat.
And I watched two episodes of "You're the Worst" and two episodes of "Blunt Talk".
And slept from 14:30 to 20:00.
Up to eat dinner...
back to sleep 22:00.

Meanwhile, I prepped MDM of leftover chicken and rice, and sat at the dining room table to eat, while reading half of one Sunday paper.
I finished and went into the BR2 to lay next to Her while reading the comics.

Called me at one point, having a panic attack when a trigger set Her off. I did not realize and She did not tell me it was a panic attack, and I was not at all helpful, I was just acting annoyed that She called me at all, as She seems to do it every single time She leaves the house for anything at all.
She came home... more than a little annoyed with me, and left again on another errand.
