...Finished "Sex in the movies"
Just in time for "Live Free or Die Hard" to start, on some commercial channel.
So what the hell.
I watched that, and read "Sex a Mans Guide" during commercials.
Finished movie, 0400.
Finished book, 0430.
Sleep....
Up 10 ish...get laundry started...
And call Dad, to say Happy Father's Day.
Caught him just as he was pulling in the garage returning from a round of golf.
ANd he went in, and woke up Mom so we could talk to her, too.
Back to sleep.
1200 up to get laundry in dryer.
Sleep...
And up 14:45.
Toilet, four times interspersed during:
Laundry, IN.
Shower and dressed.
Packed up.
Kiss Her Goodbye.
Out to the car, and back in for the toilet again.
15:46, on the way.
Three car accident on NB 5, just north of the 710... three lanes block. FML
Finally at work 1700.
Dealing with morning set up, and keeping an eye on the evening work.
My supervisor sent me two admonishing emails for reservations I took; in one, I did not pull the profile landmark, indicating where at NY Penn some idiot client wants to be met; another, I did not put the client's cell phone in the instructions so the driver would have it.
I've really had enough of brand new reservationists, brand new dispatchers...a whole crew of people who couldn't find a map, even if given step by step directions...
Not enough drivers...
And I told the Supervisor, by return email, if my work is not 'up to snuff', just ask me to resign and I will. Doesn't need to fire me. Just ask me to resign. I've really had it.
And this was followed by a Really FUcked UP morning dealing with some fucked up movement of sportcasters in the Seattle area..

Merry came to bed, and we started watching "Aquarius."
She was asleep within 10 minutes.
I started watching "Ed Sullivan Classics", a fundraiser on a PBS channel, while reading, 'Sex a man's guide"
Asleep 0345.
Merry was up 0730..
At some point thereafter, came in to kiss me goodbye, as She was on Her way to join up with Her WSoJ group for an outing to the Getty Museum.
I woke up a few times...
Like when She arrived home, shortly after 1600.
Got up, we talked a little...
I went back to bed....
UP, 20:00 in time to remember to set the VCR for a movie on HBO, "Gone Girl".
ANd watched the multiple repeats of "The Big Bang Theory" on TBS while catching up on mail.
Dinner: meatloaf, green beans, rice.
I watched a rerun of "Clipped".
I watched some documentary, an overview of sex in the x-rated movie industry, starting with 'Deep Throat", "Behind the Green Door" almost to the present. ...til 01:15.

Finished "The Two Towers" around 02:45.
And, started watched the special extended edition of "The Return of the King".

Finished...around 06500 and to sleep.
09:00, up to let Donna out and feed her.
Awakened abruptly by Merry, 13:45 to get up and ready for the 14:15 doctor appointment.
She had been awake, and said She had her alarm set... but set it for a.m. ... and nodded off at the computer desk.
We hurriedly dressed...were in Her car 14:10, and at the Doctor's at 14:20...and the receptionist said, she had tried to call me (yep, then I saw the missed call on my phone) to say, the doctor's arrival was delayed, and I need not come in til 15:00.
Well, what the hell, there we were.
Gave me time to find out why I had NOT yet received a referral to a Gastrointerologist. <because, she had not seen the order that The Doctor had put on my chart> so she was able to 'whip one up' real quick...and I was able to call and make an appointment while sitting there.
The Doctor arrived like 15:20. We were shown in 15:25.
He came in, spoke to me like, "Why are you here?"
"Um, because you said come back in a month.."
"Well, then, this time, make it two months."

So, we made an appointment for two months hence, one for Her and me, together. We sat in the waiting room, while She filled out the 5 or 6 pages of preliminary paperwork..and went on our way.
First stop, gas station... and filled up.
Then home, almost running over Stitch on his bicycle on the way home.... as Merry wanted to put together a shopping list before we went ..shopping.
Out we went, to Von's then 99c store...
Home...brought stuff in, put it away.
And began a monthly bill-pay, deciding who is getting paid, and who isn't.
This is often a stressful discussion, resulting in one or the other of us wanting to throw up our hands and walk out of the room.
Hasn't happened yet... but it's been very close.
I had already undressed to underwear...when She said, She was ready to go out again.
So I dressed.
Out we went... first to Petco, to get 'Donna food' the 50 pound bag of dry dog food, that we give to Donna twice a day.
Then Walmart, for Her prescription, canned cat food, and a couple of other things that were always cheaper than market prices, there.
And stopped at a different 99c store, as the one we went to earlier was all but out of a nearly-essential item.
ANd home.
And 'stuff' in the house, and away.
And I undressed again.
ANd sat in my chair.
And fell asleep, I think.
Woke up an hour later to continue reading, "Sex a man's guide"
Dinner... baked chicken and rice.
And watched first episode of new series on SyFy, "Killjoys".

1100 UP wrote a check for the pool guy..went into the back yard, left the check where he would find it, unlocked the gate...
and back to bed.

About midnight, one of my favorite (easy to get along with, etc) agents called, booking a new car order for ... 0415.
As it happens, we already had 8 rides starting b4 0500.
I made... ten phone calls to affiliates trying to get it covered, and sent a couple emails on speculation...
And gave up.
One of the guys on MS detail called clear at 0115, and did not have to go back for his assigned client until 1500, and was amenable to ...coming to base and changing cars and going back out for the 415, and that took care of that.
Meanwhile, I was trying to log into HBO-Go via my Fios account, but FIOS was acting contrary, not letting me log in...
Until, like an hour later, it did...just like that. Eazy peazy. Fuckin' internet.
So, I got to watch "The Newsroom" season One, eps 5, 6, 7, 8, 9...
Out 9:05. Gave Merry the 9 o'clock call She requested
Stopped for five whole dollars o' gas.
Home 10:03.
Talking...
Eating... pork chops, rice, t-chips...
Watched "Major Crimes" from Monday, and new sit com, "Clipped" from Tuesday.
Sleep, 12:30
Awake 19:40.
Up and moving around 20:26.
83º in BR1 still.

Dinner.. Red meat sauche over rice, with green beans.
I did the dishes. Often Stitch does 'em. But I try...on my nights home that he is working the next day, to do 'em.

Brought in Her laundry...
She showered, and was out, 0730.
Back to bed I went, down, and up...down and up.
I took pepto bismol....alka seltzer ...antacids... nothing was working, I was all but doubled over in gut pain.
At 14:30, I called my supervisor at work, DB, said I could not make it in that afternoon or evening.
When my gut settled down, I brought my laundry in, put it away.
And fixed my narrow chest of drawers... the base separates to the point that the drawers won't slide in or out...I have to take 'em out and slam the base boards together, every six months or so.
Started watching tv...
"The Return of the King" was on commercial t.v. and I watched it, from 3:30 to 8:00.
Merry arrived home, 18:30, and fell on and in bed, asleep almost immediately.
I snacked on tortilla chips.
ANd watched "Hobbit: An unexpected Journey" from shortly after 8 to 11:15.
And snacked on apple chunks and baby carrots.
And started watching "Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" at 23:15 ...

I started reading recaps of "The Newsroom" episodes on Vulture.
And watched the last quarter of the most recent "Godzilla" on some cable channel.
Up to pee, and get some ice cream.
Back to bed, and read about "Wayward Pines" on Vulture.
To sleep, 0400.
Up once or twice or three times..
Up 1745, talking, and to toilet... While Merry took a shower.
Made coffee the tough way...
Merry went to the market...
CJ's sister arrived, so I had to put on some pants over my briefs...
I went to BR2 to try on the numerous pair of pants I had hanging in the closet.
Out of nine, I found one pair that I could still get up, and around my waist.
On the scale: 254.
Merry arrived home with groceries; Stitch and I went out to the car, to bring 'em in, and unload the bags, and put stuff away.
I sat at the desktop, and input my diaries for Wednesday and Thursday, then sat at the dining room table, and updated mail...then trotted out my mechanical pencil box, just to look for ones to add to my daily-use collection.
Dinner was prepped and served: baked orange chicken, and rice.
I sat down to read 'The Science of Mind' for May.
And I went to the bedroom and started watching "The Newsroom" Season 3:1.
And started to read a rather thick paperback book I had selected from my shelf, "Sex for Men". ...
