8 weeks,  in a 'boot'

Continuing a mighty slow night....
Finished "The Hateful 8" around 01:30.
Started watching 'Sports Night' (of which there were 2 seasons, about 23 eps each.
...Watched  1: 1 -- 7.  Could not get '8' to load. Continued with 9 & 10.
Called Merry for wake-up, 0528.
She arrived to pick me up, shortly after 6..
Out of the office, and in car   06:20
06:53 Home.

Fed all the animals.
Merry fixed MDM ...  ham on top of potatoes au gratin and toast and p-chips 
In the bedroom, and watched "Major Crimes" from one week ago.
0830 or slow, sleep.

12:45  up, pee,  snack ( peanut butter pie ...) 

17:00 alarm...
17:30 upright....  prepped, dressed, packed, and ready....
18:05  in  car   
 A stop for a tank of gas (11 gallons)
19:00 at work.

My associates (the one that leaves as I come in, and the one that stays with me for four hours) were chillin'
And I got a chance to see what wasn't done.
Such as the 'grid', the website on which we keep track of who is in which vehicle...was horribly not up to date.   
And I had to sort out the night work  ..
Then figure out Tuesday's night work.  
With 55 rides done for Monday, and 50 going into Tuesday, this was way tougher than it should have been.
The UNeasy-to-get-along-with booker for some rapper started calling in rides to our rez agents... that started with ONE suv from the west valley to LAX, then quickly became two, then became two plus one from BH; and when rez agents left a bit early, this agent called again, and was quite pissed off that she got 'me', i.e. dispatch, instead of a rez agent... but I quickly dealt with booking one little car in Mia.
Meanwhile, another not-so-easy-to-get-along-with booker was calling every twenty minutes, for 'driver info' for her client, inbound to SFO at midnight.  Our affiliate in SFO was not being helpful.
And I had a chauffeur that picked up at LAX, going to OC, and had her planned (tagged) on an ride for an arriving client at SNA.
She cleared at 2200, the follow up was an arrival at 2230..
and she initiated a complaint about how tired she was, sleepy, she can't be working these late hours...   which left my partner and me, working hard on the phones, trying to find an affiliate to cover the ride, until she called back, saying she 'guessed she could manage to do the ride.'
The affiliate in SFO finally gave us driver info for the midnight SFO ride, and that ended the problems for the night.
I went back to watching "Sports Night":  season 1, 11-12-13.
