Finished TNR 1:9.
 Ate an apple..
went to BR1....Merry had napped was just waking up, offered me half of the ice cream bar She was eating...
Asleep a bit, then awake..
She was watching "Bicentennial Man" and I watched the last third.
Trying to sleep, not doing well....

Alka seltzer, fed cats... packed...
Showered ...dressed....
She told me She was not feeling well...and asked if I was willing to just.... drive myself...
Sure.  
I haven't driven a car since....Oct 24th or so.
Toilet ..again...
She and I were both having THAT problem.

Slow n easy.
At 18:00 an alarm went off on my phone, and at the same time Merry called to remind me to 'take your pill'.

05:00 took some ibuprofin..

up to pee  1100, 1300
Stitch woke me 1525 with a message from Merry: "You gonna get up and go to the bank or not?"
Clueless about the time, I looked at the clock...got up..went to the toilet....dressed...
And followed an annoyed or angry or both -- Merry to the car.
With very few words, if any, we drove down to a branch of my bank to get the funds from my paycheck out.
Turns out the BIG ATM says I was over my daily/monthly cash limit with the amt I wanted, so I had to go to a walk up teller.
Which still didn't take all that long, and when I got back to the car, Merry did not question the time.
We returned quickly home, as Merry had an urgent need to get to the toilet, and I also has need, tho somewhat less urgent.
She asked if I was going shopping with Her; I said yes.

We returned to the car...
We started at Wlmrt, where I turned in a prescription while She began shopping....  
We checked out, went to the car, and drove down to the street to Winco.
Shopped a bunch, went across the street to a 76 gas and filled up; then drove on to Von's....where she deposited the cash I had in a WF atm, and we shopped some more...then headed home.
Stitch came out to help unload the car.
Then we put it all away....
I sat in the living room chair, while she sat at the desk computer.
In time dinner was served... pork chops n rice....  and I took a pro biotic.
Around 2150 I started on taxes.
Which actually took...well, no time at all.
I watched The Newsroom on a tablet, while 
 doing taxes, updating a word list, and since I got this laptop decently working,  updating diary entries....

I coulda shudda stayed another hour...and get paid for it, but with the two bestest dispatchers we got already here, and the phones not ringing, and having been here 12 hours...

And read a bunch of newspapers left for me from Saturday:  The LA Times, The New York Times, The WSJ.
6:20 Out, and in the rain, walked to the H&H train stop.
Okay, it wasn't still raining, but the streets and sidewalk were wet from having recently rained.
6:31  Three levels down, waiting for the Red.
07:00 Called Merry from Pico, saying, I should arrive DA in 30 minutes.  
She said, "Didn't you get my text, I'm taking Stitch to work because of the rain."
Well, no I was underground.
The text She sent arrived on my phone at 7:04.
The train pulled in at 7:34. She was waiting.
Car 7:36, home 7:45.
Fed all the animals.
She heated up MDM for me, chicken and wild rice...and a GF English Muffin.
In BR1, we watched  what I think is the Series Finale of CSI Cyber.
9:15 sleep
1150 UP to pee, and snack: chocolate squares.
16:00 kinda awake.
17:30 UP
 Alka seltzer, pill,  toilet...showered...dressed... reset the clock (ahead an hour) in the bathroom...

Easy peasy on the freeway most of the way

And another one bites the dust: I had seen on my work email on my phone, that some rez agent had been 'let go' today.

No matter, a supervisor will 'fix'.
Working on 102 rides for Monday, finished 145 from Sunday... lots of fun, not.

Out 7:41, and walked to the Metro stop.
Arrived DA station at 0900.
Merry was at CoH with Babyman...
So I called Lyft to come in get me. 
Arrived in 10 minutes, home at 9:30.
A fine ride, until we almost both died,  when he pulled all the way to the right, preparing to make a u-turn to put me in front of my house and he didn't look to see the big SUV coming on his left...
Close but no collision.
Stitch was home, called in sick.
I fed the cats and prepped MDM... pork and tortillas... while reading some more of the paper....
10:30 sleep.

17:45 UP.
  P, snack on chips... pill...took contact lenses out...  
Watched TRMS
 Then the Demo Debate.
  Merry and Babyman home... 1945... 
 We talked...
 The kitchen was running very slow...I worked on fixing it.
Back in bedroom watched  "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Comic Book Men" from Sunday.
Dinner... chicken and rice.
Back to sleep, 2130.

08 March Tuesday Diary

at work:
 Quiet enough... watched TNR 3: 1, 2, 3 
 Had to skate early, so that Merry could pick me up, and get home in time to take Babyman to CoH for 8:00 apptment....so I called Her at 04:15
And I was out at 4:59, leaving the Room in the hands of my rookie associate, waiting for the Morning Guy to arrive... even though I told him several times the day before to 'be on time, I'm leaving at 05).
5:01 in car
5:34 home.
Fed the cats.
Put together MDM  left over beefstew, which at this point was just potatoes in the gravy; leftover sweet potatoes, peanut butter on toasted tortillas, and t-chips.
Watched TRMS from Monday.
Then got up to feed the dogs...as Merry said, "Good bye" leaving with Babyman
Back to sleep 730ish.
14:30 up... pee,  snack on an apple
back to sleep.
I heard Merry come in around 17:00 and get on the bed.
17:30 alarm  and up....
Shower, dressed  etc.
18:07 in car
19:13 at work.
19:17 In.
More than usual night work, so lots of drivers out, and later...checking in.
Not much morning work to fix or adjust.
Somebody missing in the reservations room so we in dispatch got Overflow calls which KW handled.... 
That and the night work kept 'us' busy through midnight...

07 March, Monday Diary

at work
Watched "The Circus"
My associate arrived 01:00...
Hell broke loose around 01:30 with a fucked up order in London...client looking for car  on an order that was inadvertently cancelled ...by my associate....15 minutes prior...
Meanwhile someone wanting to change a car in Miami 
(at 4:30 local time) that was scheduled for 5:00 and NOT get charged for it...fat chance. 
Rain started here about 06:10.
And I was gonna leave around 06:30 and walk three blocks to the train station.
Which I did.
Fortunately I had my hoodie, so only THAT got wet.
On board the Red, 6:45.
I connected to the Blue, and even got on the right train, but due to some kinda delay, we were late pulling out of the station.
I called Merry at 7:40, told Her,  should arrive in about 20 minutes.
I got off the train and walked downstairs, off the platform, at 8:01.
It was very windy ...against my wet jacket...and cold.
She pulled in to the parking lot at 8:14.
FML!

With me seething, we went home  in silence.
Plus, I had to pee really badly.
But SHE still had to stop for a gallon of Milk for Babyman.

Home...I quickly urinated...and fed the cats.
She prepped MDM ....leftover baked chicken and sweet potatoes and stuffing....
I sat at the living room table and ate while reading part of Sunday's paper.
Then I went to bed....09:00

Up 14:30 to pee... and snack on a few cookies..
Back to bed...trying to sleep....off and on...
17:30 alarm...17:45 up 
Shower n dressed n ready.
18:19 in car, just Merry n me.
We talked a little about the party She attended the previous night which I really just don't want to hear any more about...and the 'incident' this morning... 
I forgave Her, and She agreed She would try to avoid 'doing that' again.

I sat in my chair, and read last Sunday's LA Times/Wall Street Journal/NY Times.
In BR1  watched the Republican Debate... while reading USA today, browsing the TV Guide, and talking to Dad.
Dinner: pork chops and rice.
Watched TRMS.

02 March, Wednesday, Diary

at work
SO, about midnight, this woman calls, looking for a REP for an airport  departure in Atlanta for (the director of Boyz in the Hood)..at 07:15.   4 hours from now.  Would not take 'no' until I tried.
So, I tried.   Two car companies and two national rep companties. NO. The end.  Jeez.

Rather uneventful night thereafter.
But, I did not watch any 'tv'.
Out 7:51 and headed over to catch the train.
I had to buy a 'TAP' card, and load one trip on it...easy enough....on the train.
Had to change at the 7th St Metro...and got on the wrong train.
However, both the train I boarded AND the train I wanted to be on had as their first stop, Pico station, so I got off at Pico, and waited 5  minutes for my train.
Pulled into DelAmo at 905, where Merry was waiting for me, and home by 09:20.
I fed the cats, while She prepped MDM...chili and chips.
In BR1, we watched TRMS from Monday

It's been a LONG time since I got THIS drunk.
Maybe, the last time was my wedding night....?

01 March, Tuesday Diary

At work, what a difference from Sunday night......
Watched  The Newsroom 2: 2,3,7,8,9.
Starting at 0530, tried to call Merry...twice...voicemail. Tried to call Stitch..twice...voice mail.
Gave up.
She called back when She heard the alarm from Her phone. The phone had been under Her pillow.
6:25 Out
6:26 in car with Her,  in a crappy mood what with the conversation the night before, and the futility in calling Her this morning,  and just ... in general.
7:11 Home.
Fed the dogs with almost the last of the dry food.
Split up the last can of cat food among the three very loud recipients.
Merry fixed MDM:  fried (poached, I think She said) egg on gluten-free toast..with provolone cheese...  I added some chips, and went to BR1 to eat
Without watching tv.
I ate, I went to sleep....  07:45

UP 10:30, pee.... snack on peanut butter, then ice cream.
13:30 up to pee again.
1600 kind of awake
1730 alarm
1745 up.
Only Stitch in the house, no side of Merry or Babyman.
I saw that She had been shopping, including a new box of cat food cans.... the Noisy Trio was satisfied for the moment.
Merry walked in, from more shopping, which included the renewal of my anti-D prescription from Wmart.   

We had an ugly argument, when She said She acquired something or other  (ginger ale, maybe) "for you."
That bugged me. It wasn't just for me. I'm not the only person in the house who drinks it. And I said so, probably in a nasty voice.
The cat food IS just for the cats.
The dog food IS just for the dogs.   
  That prescription IS just for me. I thank Her for that.
But the ginger ale is not JUST for me, so don't say it like it is.
The Girl Scout gluten free cookies ARE for me.  Thank you for that, Merry.

So
18:20 in car.
   Some kinda problem on the 710.  An RV was on fire?  
19:22 at work..19:25 in.
NOt much different tonight from last night.
Typical rush of last minute calls for tomorrow morning...coming in between 1930 and 2100.  

The cleaning guy in for the 2nd night in a row.
He skipped Sunday, because it was so busy around the office.
So he was here last night and again tonight.
Only matters, because I have to get up to let him sweep past my desk, and again to mop.

I told Merry, I'm gonna try ... if I'm wake enough ... to take the train home, Wednesday morning.  Tho, I had to get $2.75 from Her as I have a single dollar in my wallet, with no idea if the ATM would accept it.  
I bought e-cig filters earlier in the week...but I still haven't had to open the pack.  I'm speculating the filter I'm using will 'run out', after midnight ..Wednesday... but, just a guess. 

Six full days, bootless.



Now, it makes perfect sense.
